Everyone would agree that keeping a business up and running is a testing charge that requires a lot of effort, ingenuity and hard work. As if all these were not challenging enough, the current financial crisis has made it even more difficult for businesses to keep their heads above water- this is true for any enterprise, big and small alike.
Double all that (trouble) and what you get is the ‘mission impossible’ of launching a brand new business venture. So, how does one kick off a business in such unwelcoming circumstances?
Start with a bang! Flood, choke up and over-saturate all possible areas of advertisement. Be proud of all your hard work and present it in all its glory. Throw a huge launching party where all the important people connected to your business will be seen; to keep things in a jovial mood, invite a lot of friends and relatives as well. Let the whole world know that you have a good quality business that’s here to stay.
Flaunt your products. You should be the best advertisement of your own work. If you have a boutique, put on your own clothes and take them out to the streets. You could eventually convince the buying public that what you offer are indisputable necessities if they get exposed to your goods and services frequently enough.
The last piece of advice is something tennis players and bowlers do to play a smart game- follow through. Put your money where your mouth is.
